Welcoming our new Project Manager – Tom Hines
News, Uncategorized
We are sad to announce that Kevin Grist is moving on from Audio Active after two years of dedication and hard work. We wish him all the best wish his new ventures and thank him for his valuable input.
However, we are pleased to inform you that local artist and promoter Tom Hines will be taking over the role. For those who don’t know, Tom has been delivering rap workshops for AudioActive for over a decade and knows the organisation and its artists very well. Alongside this he has a background in therapeutic care and has been teaching art in EBD schools. Tom also has 20 years of musical experience and is in charge of Slip Jam, the hip hop open mic event, which has been running for over 15 years.
We are looking forward to Tom bringing his creativity, ideas and connections to future projects. He will be visiting all the projects across Sussex in the coming weeks to speak to all our practitioners and attendees about the work that is underway. In the meantime, please feel free to contact him directly – Tom@audioactive.org.uk
